Chloe Honaker to Coordinate Commute Options Week, 2008

Commute Options for Central Oregon selected Chloe Honaker to coordinate the 2008 Commute Options Week events.  Scheduled for June 16 to 20, 2008, this will be the 18th annual event.

Chloe moved to Bend from France 8 years ago. She has been working in the nonprofit community since then and has helped organize events such as the Deschutes Children’s Foundation Art & Wine Auction, the Sagebrush Classic, the Environmental Center’s Evening for the Environment and for the first time this year Commute Options Week.   “Chloe is very enthusiast about helping make our community a healthier place to live by promoting different transportation choices,” said Executive Director Jeff Monson.

Commute Options Week promotes walking, bicycling, teleworking, carpooling and riding the bus through multiple events and competition.  Eighty five Central Oregon employers participated in the Commute Options Week Challenge in 2007.  The event grows every year.
