Safe Streets Grant Information:
The Bend Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) was
awarded an ODOT Transportation Safety Division grant

The funding will be used to implement safety outreach
about unsafe behaviors and enhanced police enforcement
to enforce safety laws with drivers, bicyclists and
pedestrians at identified high crash locations.
The Bend Police Department will be scheduling additional
officers with funding from this grant to enforce traffic laws
for pedestrians, motorists, and other roadway users
through September 2012. Commute Options will be
hosting outreach events to promote safety on our
roadways. Please check commuteoptions.org to see
