During the final week of May, Oregon Friendly Driver made its way to the Oregon coast. Commute Options had the pleasure of delivering Oregon Friendly’s driver education to the school bus drivers at both the Tillamook School District and Seaside School District.

The bus drivers were excited to learn about safe driving practices around people walking and biking, as well as the latest updates in active transportation infrastructure. In particular, Seaside expressed a strong need for this kind of education in their community. We were excited to help fill that gap!

The Oregon Friendly Driver program continues to gain momentum across the state. Here at Commute Options, we’ve been able to also bring this valuable education around Klamath Falls, Medford, Ashland, and all throughout Central Oregon.
